Lots has been happening behind the scenes here in Lucky Button land!
Last week Carrie and I finished up a batch of 16 new pillowcase totes. Carrie has been working on the best way to create labels for the totes and came up with stamping “Lucky Button Creations” on a piece of ribbon and ironing it to set the ink.
I’m not sure that is the ultimate label, but until we find a better alternative I think it looks good.
On Saturday we made a trip over to Home Depot to buy a piece of beadboard panelling. I wanted a white background for photographing the tote bag but all of my walls are beige. I came up with the (yet to be determined) brilliant idea of attaching a knob to a piece of panelling to photograph the totes. I think this will work. I really like the idea that the panelling is mobile and I can move it as the light changes in the house.
Here are a couple of photos I took using the new backdrop:
I also photographed a ton of cards that will be added to the Etsy Shop in the next few days.
